Abbaye de Montmajour
Abbaye de Montmajour is afortified Benedictine monastery built between the 10th and 18th centuries on what was originally an island north of Arles.
These ghostly ruins were one of the most important monasteries in the area. You can see ancient graves carved in the bedrock in the outdoor cemetery.
